Steel, LLC is excited to be a part of the construction of this new infrastructure for WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) in collaboration with Turner Construction.

The steel-framed structure houses space for both administrative personnel as well as warehouse / garage areas for up to 160 buses to be maintained and stored.  The structure is comprised of steel columns with long span joists and pre-fabricated metal trusses.  Steel, LLC is also furnishing and installing the miscellaneous metals.

The project also includes extending site utilities from the site entry to the added buildings, a Maintenance Building (one-story, high bay) connected to an Operations Building (two-story) with outlying buildings (one-story) for bus wash and bus fueling.  Construction is set to start in the Spring of 2016.
