Steel, LLC joins in the construction effort for the new Museum of the Bible in our nation’s capitol.  This international-collaborative project is set to open in 2017. Throughout 2015, ongoing demolition will continue to ready the site for the build. Moving into 2016 and 2017, installation of the new rooftop addition, expansion above the Washington Office Center, exterior glazing and renovations, streetscape improvements, and build-out of the museum’s content and experiential technologies will complete the project.

Steel, LLC’s scope of work includes the fabrication of architecturally exposed structural steel for the “Biblical Garden” roof terrace trellis and galvanized trellis roof framing. In addition, structural steel floor framing from the existing structure will be implemented with a new curved curtain wall.
